Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your main duties will include monitoring surveillance systems, patrolling the premises, and responding to any security incidents or emergencies that may arise.
Duties:
– Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to prevent unauthorized access or activities
– Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies promptly and appropriately
– Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards
– Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and compliance
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients, employees, and visitors with inquiries or concerns
– Complete detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as necessary
Experience:
– Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not required
– Possess a valid security certificate or be willing to obtain one
– Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques
– Familiarity with conflict management principles and techniques
– Basic understanding of loss prevention strategies
– Ability to perform basic first aid and CPR if needed
Skills:
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Strong attention to detail and observation skills
– Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
– Proficient in using technology such as computers, radios, and surveillance equipment
