We are seeking a qualified and experienced Armed Office Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our office premises, employees, and visitors. The Armed Office Security Officer will be equipped with firearms and will need to possess excellent judgment, communication skills, and the ability to handle potentially volatile situations with professionalism and tact.
Key Responsibilities:
– Patrol assigned areas within the office premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, unauthorized access, or suspicious activities.
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify and respond to security threats promptly.
– Enforce access control procedures to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
– Conduct security screenings of employees, visitors, and deliveries as necessary.
– Maintain accurate records of security incidents, observations, and activities.
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed.
– Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors, answering questions and addressing concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
– Stay updated on security protocols, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications:
– Must be at least 21 years of age.
– High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education in criminal justice or related field preferred.
– Valid state-issued armed security officer license.
– Valid firearms permit and proficiency in handling firearms.
– Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security preferred.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
– Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
