Position Overview:

This position is responsible for supervising the Security shift in compliance with all Federal and State Laws and all Rules and Regulations of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. The position will supervise all Security Officers assigned to the shift and will monitor their compliance with the internal controls and procedures of the Company. Supervisors will continually monitor their shift to ensure a safe and secure environment for Casino patrons, Hotel guests, company employees and the safe movement and protection of Company assets and property. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Mount Airy Casino Resort policies and procedures, Internal Control standards and Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations.

Essential Job Functions:

Ensures that all incidents, complaints and illegal activities are thoroughly investigated, documented, and brought to the attention of their Superiors.
Develops and maintains a strong positive relationship with Local and State Law Enforcement Officials.
Works closely with the Surveillance Department to prevent loss and damage to Company assets and property.
Must have good reporting and writing skills.
Evaluates all Security Officers they supervise.
Ensures all established stations are properly staffed and that the personnel are properly relieved.
Observes all areas for safety hazards with regards to customer and employee safety
Ensure that all Federal and State Laws are complied with.
Ensures that all Security personnel present a positive personal appearance and attitude.

Essential Requirements:

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment.
Must have a minimum of 3years as a Security Officer.
Strong organizational and leadership qualities, interpersonal skills and dedicated commitment to excellence.
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the employees throughout all levels of the Mount Airy Casino Resort.
Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid license as required by the PA Gaming Control Board.
Must demonstrate leadership, fairness and sensibility to the customers and employees.

Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 120 lbs.

Other Skills/Abilities:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a key license as required by the PGCB.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required with occasional travel.
Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.
