Available Shift: SATURDAY 12pm-12am, SUNDAY 4pm-12am
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Guard Shack Security Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring access to our client’s premises, maintaining a secure environment, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor entry and exit points to the premises from the guard shack.
Verify credentials and authorize access for employees, visitors, and contractors.
Conduct regular patrols of the surrounding area to ensure security.
Respond promptly to alarms or incidents and take appropriate action.
Complete accurate logs and reports documenting all security-related activities.
Assist with emergency procedures as needed, including evacuations and lockdowns.
Collaborate with other security personnel and law enforcement agencies as required.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Basic computer skills for report writing and data entry.
Physical ability to perform patrols and respond to incidents as needed.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
