UNARMED Security Officer – Care Facility
About the Job:
START DATE: IMMEDIATELY.
PAY RATE: $16 per hour.
UNARMED.
FULL-TIME POSITION.
Juvenile Care Facility.
Must undergo DCFS requirements upon onboarding. Failure to do so within two weeks; will have you removed from this site.
Requirements (Covid Vaccinated, Flu Vaccinated, TB Tested, Physical, and Background Check)
Must have a working phone.
We are looking for an attentive Security Professional to ensure that our property is protected. The Security Professional is responsible for the protection of visitors and staff, patrolling the property, and apprehending any trespassers.
To be successful as a Security Professional you must be alert. A well-suited Security Guard is aware of all visitors to the property and ensures that no inappropriate actions take place.
Security Guard Responsibilities:
Be comfortable intervening and de-escalating situations.
Make guests aware of rules that must be adhered to.
Remove trespassers or unwanted individuals from the property.
Contact the relevant authorities if a crime is committed or an accident occurs.
Report to supervisors regularly.
Record any suspicious activities with the supervisor.
Security Guard Requirements:
A high school qualification or equivalent.
State PERC License.
Basic first aid and CPR skills would be advantageous.
Physical strength and fitness.
MUST BE ABLE TO SPRINT to alarm notifications.
Prior experience as a Security Guard would be advantageous.
Attention to detail.
Good driving record.
THIS LOCATION REQUIRES PROOF OF COVID-19 VACCINATION.
Must have a working phone.
