DUTIES
We are currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Armed Security Officers. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. Your duties will include:
– Conducting regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any unauthorized activity
– Responding promptly to alarms and incidents, and taking appropriate action
– Conducting thorough investigations of any security breaches or incidents
– Enforcing access control procedures to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises
– Providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors
– Collaborating with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
SKILLS
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
– CPR and First Aid certification
– Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
– Proficiency in surveillance techniques and the ability to identify suspicious behavior
– Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques
– Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and protocols
– Ability to handle firearms safely and responsibly (if required)
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Retired Police, Military, EMS a plus.
