We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, effective surveillance, and conflict management. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing safety protocols, and responding to incidents as they arise.
Duties
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
Monitor CCTV systems and respond promptly to any suspicious activities.
Implement loss prevention strategies to protect company assets.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary.
Manage conflicts effectively and de-escalate potentially dangerous situations.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operations.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
A background in military or law enforcement is a plus.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must possess relevant certifications related to security practices.
