Unarmed Security Officer – Loop Area 470 Jobs in Chicago, IL at Stark Security Inc
OSS Inc., an established contract security guard company with over 50 years of experience, is looking for dependable, hard-working security officers in the Cleveland, OH area.
OSS Inc. security guards are fully uniformed, unarmed and trained.
Security background as well as Supervisor/Management experience required. Must have a valid Driver’s license for this position.
$17 an hour.
(1) 40 hour first shift,
(1) 40 hour second shift,
(1) 32 hour Saturday (16 hours) and Sunday (16 hours) which covers first and second shift both days. That applicant can pick up an additional 8 hours at a gate.
(1) 8-hour (third) shift on Friday, 16-hour shifts (second combined with third shift) On Saturday & Sunday
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
· Twenty-one years of age
· High school diploma or GED equivalent
· Ability to work additional shifts as deemed necessary
· Ability to speak and write English
· Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
· The ability to with stand hot and cold temperatures
· Pass background check
· Valid Ohio Driver’s License
· Must be on time and reliable, with little to no call offs
Responsibilities include:
· Must be able to communicate with the guards at the gates effectively
· Responsible for conducting daily gate and vehicle inspections
· Ability to work with sergeants on duty, especially during EMS runs
· Assist in EMS runs and escort lost truckers as well as visitors to the site
· Must have knowledge of the plant and layout
· M3 officers must be willing and able to write up officers when deemed necessary
· M4 officers are required to be on the Upper Dock at all times that delivery vessels are present
· M4 officers must apply for and be granted a TWIC card, issued by the Federal Government. OSS will help officers obtain their TWIC card
