If you enjoy working with technology while using your hands, NWOSS has an excellent opportunity for you! We are seeking an entry-level Security & Life Safety professional to join our growing team as an Electronic Security Technician.
Job Description:
Our technicians are responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, and repairing various low-voltage systems, including intrusion detection, access control, fire alarms, and video surveillance. They will also assist with the installation of wireless and hardwired networks, provide customer training on system use and setup, and support the service team with additional tasks as needed. This position requires daily travel throughout Ohio, with a company vehicle provided.
Ideal Candidates Possess:
A high school diploma is required, with preferred training in low-voltage or electrical work. Fire alarm experience and certification are a plus. Candidates should have experience using hand and power tools, possess strong computer skills, and demonstrate excellent communication abilities. A valid driver’s license is required.
