Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at our facilities. This position requires a proactive approach to conflict management, loss prevention, and the enforcement of laws and regulations. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting property, personnel, and ensuring a secure environment.
Duties
Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
Monitor surveillance systems including CCTV to ensure the safety of premises.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining order among visitors and staff.
Provide assistance during emergencies, utilizing CPR and First Aid skills when required.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or provide information.
Document all incidents accurately in daily reports for record-keeping purposes.
Engage in conflict management strategies to resolve disputes peacefully.
Experience
Must possess a valid security officer certification or equivalent credentials.
Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable.
Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems is preferred.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Knowledge of CPR and First Aid is essential; certification is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour
