Essential Responsibilities
Ability to manage several Officers at any given time
Direct oversight in assigning officers to posts and making sure they obtain their orders for each job site.
Must be able to communicate with clients and guards at any given time
Will have direct contact with upper management and act as a liaison between officers and upper management.
Provide visible leadership and actively contribute to the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of a strong, sustainable safe work environment for all team members. Drive accountability by engaging the team through a variety of events, tools, trainings, observations, and metrics.
Must be able to cross train officers in all aspects pertaining to security related job functions.
Plan, develop and put into action new and existing training measures.
Will have direct oversite to all training functions from: Armed guards, Taser Guards, Unarmed guards, Self-defense tactics, Live scenario training etc.
Conducting orientation programs and arranging on-the-job training for new hires
Resolving any specific problems and tailoring training programs as necessary
Identifying future training needs and creating a curriculum to facilitate that training.
Help obtain new security contracts by showing professionalism and hospitality through continues hard work
Maintain a great relationship with new and existing clients
Will help implement/execute new and existing policies in which better the companies needs and its team members.
Have direct oversight to officers training and growth within the company.
Must be able to respond to any active situation pertaining to officers and contracted sites within a reasonable amount of time.
Will be responsible for training new and existing officers.
Must be willing to work any and all shifts
Preventing illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence
Patrolling assigned buildings, facilities, and perimeters on foot or by a patrol vehicle.
Maintain constant communication with clients and their employees by keeping all parties in the assigned area up to date on current policies and company rules.
Monitoring alarm systems and video surveillance systems when an assigned site is permitted.
Investigate and respond to suspicious activities and disturbances and inform the client and security management timely.
Locking buildings, businesses and other designated areas per the clients needs.
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, restraining trespassers if needed and according to SOP.
Must be proficient in de-escalating techniques, self-defense tactics, verbal judo, etc.
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
Ensure the Security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises
Must be able to keep a positive attitude at all times while in uniform and on job sites.
Adhere to all company service and operating standards
Able to coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies during emergencies.
Qualifications:
2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or security management
High School Diploma or GED
This position is to add to the rising need of the continues growth and is required to have an open schedule and will be required to work job sites.
Ideal candidates will have an upbeat demeanor, strong attention to detail, maintain a professional attitude and appearance, and EXCELLENT customer service skills.
Must be at least 18 years of age. Pass a background check and drug screen.
Extensive knowledge of deterring illegal activity and performing access control.
In-depth knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment.
Knowledge of security industry regulations.
Experience in documenting security procedures and observations.
Advanced ability to respond to security breaches and threats.
Ability to inform personnel and visitors of security procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must have a reliable, personal vehicle. (Public transportation does not access all sites, as needed for this position.)
Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies
Location: Denver Metro Area
Compensation: $53k-$57k per year
