Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) is seeking an experienced Security Shift Supervisor in Bloomfield, NJ for a school district.
SHIFT AVAILABLE:Monday 11AM to 7PM;
Tuesday to Friday 7AM to 3PM
PAY RATE:$20 per hour
JOB SUMMARY:Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.
SHIFT SUPERVISOR/LEAD ROVER JOB DUTIES:
Oversee and direct shift operations of on-site staff in accordance with the established client post orders & DSS company rules and policies.
Deliver exceptional customer service while providing guidance to the on-site staff.
Conduct rounds throughout the shift of the site via guardtek.
Investigate and complete reports related to incidents and/or accidents via guardtek.
Assist with maintaining proper timesheets and payroll records.
Assist with training and mentoring of the shift for the on-site staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Security or related experience or customer service knowledge and college leveleducationcan be substituted for work experience.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have supervisory experience
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid NJ SORA License
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills
Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations
Reliable transportation
Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form
Some positions may require a 7-year consistent work history
