About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Corporate and Strategic Communications to play a pivotal role in elevating its brand and thought leadership within the cybersecurity industry. The successful candidate will work closely with the CMO and senior leadership to lead high-visibility initiatives that strengthen the company’s market position and engage key audiences. This role demands a bold and strategic leader with a proven track record in shaping brand positioning and corporate communications on a global scale.
The VP will be responsible for leading the external market positioning, acting as a spokesperson, and managing global PR and social media teams. They will also be tasked with crisis communications, strategic response planning, and defining an executive engagement strategy to enhance the company’s leadership position in the industry. Applicants for the VP position should have at least 15 years’ of experience in corporate communications, with a minimum of 5 years’ in the cybersecurity industry.
A strong background in public relations, media relations, and executive communications is essential, as is a deep understanding of the technology or cybersecurity markets. The role requires exceptional storytelling, writing, and public speaking skills, as well as the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment with executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, be adept at influencing markets, and have experience in leading and developing global teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
