About the Opportunity:
Career Staffing Talent (CST) is partnering with a prominent law firm to hire a Vice President of IT. This executive-level role will lead and scale enterprise-wide technology operations, overseeing a high-performing team of 30+ professionals spanning infrastructure, application development, cybersecurity, and service delivery. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, user-centric leader capable of aligning IT operations with business objectives in a fast-paced legal environment.
What You’ll Do:
Lead IT operations across infrastructure, enterprise applications, software development, business systems, and IT service management.
Ensure system reliability, performance, security, and scalability to support business growth and continuity.
Analyze user feedback and satisfaction metrics to continuously improve the end-user experience.
Collaborate closely with the VP of User Experience to deliver a responsive, user-focused IT service model.
Ensure compliance with global data security and privacy standards (ISO 27001, SOC, HIPAA, GDPR); support incident response readiness.
Foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness across teams.
Track and report KPIs to monitor performance and drive service optimization.
Mentor and develop a collaborative, inclusive, and high-output IT team.
Oversee IT budgets, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
Partner with the IS Project Management Office to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Present strategic technology plans and updates to executive leadership.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of IT operations leadership, preferably within multi-location, professional services or law firm environments.
Strong background in user satisfaction, ITSM frameworks, and enterprise tech strategy.
Technical expertise across:
On-prem/cloud infrastructure, WAN, IaaS, virtualization
Enterprise applications (finance, marketing, legal support)
Data center ops, disaster recovery, and business continuity
Data integration and user computing environments
Experience with Agile, Scrum, and modern development methodologies.
CISSP or relevant security certification preferred.
Exceptional communicator with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
Work Environment:
Hybrid role based in Philadelphia, PA (onsite Tuesday–Thursday).
Occasional travel required.
Flexibility for off-hours work as needed to meet operational priorities.
