Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated VIP Officer based in Umhlanga to help us maintain a safe environment and deliver exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring premises through surveillance and patrols to prevent loss and theft.
Ensuring the safety and security of guests and staff.
Conducting perimeter patrols and inside checks before and after hours.
Operating and maintaining security equipment, including radios and scanners.
Managing guest entry through scanning and bag searches, adhering to gender-specific protocols.
Directing traffic and controlling vehicle and foot traffic flow.
Participating in opening, closing, and other operational procedures.
Providing excellent guest service by greeting guests courteously and addressing concerns proactively.
Ensuring compliance with dress code, security protocols, and conduct standards.
Requirements:
Previous security experience.
Registration with PSIRA.
Valid driver’s license and Matric certificate are advantageous.
Additional Skills:
Physical fitness and ability to work flexible shifts.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
