Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, preventing loss, and responding to incidents effectively.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Utilize CCTV systems to observe and report any suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
Prepare detailed reports of incidents, including any actions taken during emergencies.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to resolve issues or investigate incidents.
Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with the public and staff.
Requirements
Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
