Job SummaryThe Vice President of Global Information Technology & Security (VP of Global IT & Security) will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the overall IT strategy for Exegy. Reporting directly to the COO/CFO, theVP of Global IT will be responsible forbuilding and managingfunctions within the corporate department to meet strategic business imperatives. This includesadvising and hands-on leadership and directionof small teams responsible for business applications, data strategy, network infrastructure, datacenter management, cloud computing and storage, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, privacy, helpdesk, and IT vendor management.
Responsibilities
Establish strong service organizations for our clients and employees by deploying experience and leading the team to build and run world-class functions
Serve as an engaged senior leader to work through change project-by-project and enable team leaders to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Manage priorities and ensure that project hurdles are diagnosed and overcome quickly
Ensure that the IT processes are effectively designed, documented, operating, and monitored such that there are no significant or material weaknesses in the IT controls related to cybersecurity, including disaster prevention and recovery, and global IT security
Oversee the design, implementation, security, monitoring, and maintenance of the corporate network infrastructure
Drive optimization of the datacenter management to best serve clients and employees balancing cost and capabilities
Lead the systems team in managing and optimizing corporate IT systems, including servers, storage, and virtualization for efficient data storage, backup, and disaster recovery
Manage all IT policies and procedures in accordance with Exegy’s quality and regulatory compliance
Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources

Proven ability to manage complexity and change, with a “hands on keyboard” mentality
Demonstrable leadership of a technology organization in private equity held firm
10+ years of proven senior IT leadership experience across mentioned domains
Deep experience with datacenter management, networking, systems management, and corporate IT leadership
Client service mindset with proven ability to communicate complex concepts to a range of senior business stakeholders
Experience/certification (MCSE, CCNP, ITIL, or equivalent) related to cyber security governance, risk and compliance, audits and assessments, and/or support and delivery of IT services
Strong people and vendor management, including negotiation, project management, planning and execution skills
Strong financial acumen and experience managing IT budgets
