Position Summary:
As a Vulnerability Assessment Analyst, you will perform assessments of systems and networks for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in St. Louis, MO. Your role involves measuring the effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities.
Clearance Requirement:
Must have an active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
:
Analyze organization’s cyber defense policies and configurations and evaluate compliance with regulations and directives.
Conduct and support authorized penetration testing on enterprise network assets.
Maintain deployable cyber defense audit toolkit to support audit missions.
Stay informed on cyber defense policies, regulations, and compliance documents.
Prepare audit reports with findings and remediation strategies.
Conduct reviews such as TSCM and TEMPEST countermeasure reviews.
Perform risk and vulnerability assessments of technology areas.
Make security control recommendations to mitigate risks.
Required
Education
, Skills, and
Experience:
5 years of cybersecurity experience
IAT Level 2 certification (Security+ or equivalent)
Two penetration testing certifications (e.g., Pen Test+, GPEN, GCIH, CEH, etc.)
Ability to conduct penetration tests and vulnerability scans
Knowledge of networking, risk management, laws, and cybersecurity principles
Physical Demands and Expectations:
Physical activity including walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 15 pounds, etc.
Ability to speak, read, hear, and write; use office equipment.
