Job Skills / Requirements This position is located at the Calgary International Airport to provide gender specific female pat-downs for all non-civilian passengers in the specified terminal area.
Provide exceptional customer service and assistance and sustain effective relationships with clients and patrons
De-escalate crisis situations, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including police, fire and paramedic resources
Exercise crowd control
Provide first aid and medical response when required to any person(s)
Handle inquires
Working a variety of hours, afternoons and evenings included.
Conducting pat-down searches on same gender staff.
Confiscation of prohibited items.
Access control – Terminal entry and exit points.
Ability to adapt to different situations and communicate with a variety of individuals
All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Currently hold a valid Alberta Security license
Hold a valid RED Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) or have ability to work with manager to obtain one.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent customer service skills
Strong observational skills and attention to detail
Ability to make immediate decisions, while maintaining composure in emergency response situations with minimal supervision
