Overview:
We are currently seeking an Access Control Supervisor to join our team. As an Access Control Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the access and safety of our facility. This is a responsible position that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to handle various access control-related tasks. You will also be required to complete some administrative work, and must have computer skills. Candidate must have excellent people skills.
Responsibilities:
– Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized individuals are allowed entry
– Operate and maintain CCTV systems to monitor premises and detect any suspicious activities
– Review prior shift reports and activity.
– Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing necessary information and assistance
– Provide conflict management and resolution in situations where access is denied or unauthorized individuals are encountered
– Maintain accurate records of all access control activities, incidents, and other relevant information
– Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying potential security risks and implementing appropriate measures
– Assist General Manager with administrative tasks.
– Oversee one other company employee and scheduling of contract company to maintain 24/7 – 365 coverage.
Skills:
– Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment
– Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and protocols
– CPR certification preferred
– Strong observation skills with the ability to identify suspicious activities or behaviors
– Excellent conflict management and resolution skills
– Familiarity with access control systems and procedures
– Understanding of loss prevention techniques and strategies
– First aid knowledge is a plus
– Computer skills a must
