Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Armed Security Officer to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong conflict management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to act quickly in high-pressure situations. Duties: – Provide armed security services to protect clients, employees, and property – Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activity – Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems to identify potential security threats – Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance and take appropriate action – Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises – Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, bags, or other items as necessary – Maintain accurate logs and reports of all security-related incidents – Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary Requirements: – Must possess a valid armed security officer certificate or be eligible to obtain one – Previous experience in law enforcement or military is highly preferred – Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols – Proficient in operating surveillance equipment and CCTV systems – Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations – Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written – First aid and CPR certification is a plus We offer competitive pay rates for this position, along with opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
