Summary:
The Security Manager on Duty is responsible for the overall safety, security, health, and welfare of all guests, staff, and visitors. Provides management average direction and oversight of all departments, operations, and staff.
Responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate activities of the Security Department
Ensure proper management and staffing of all departments
Resolve guest complaints and investigate theft incidents
Patrol hotel premises to maintain order and safety
Address guest and associate accident or injury reports
Comply with the company’s drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy
Take immediate action in case of emergencies such as accidents, medical incidents, or security breaches.
Coordinate with relevant authorities as needed.
Ensure staff is properly trained to handle emergencies.
Experience/Qualifications:
Basic operational management skills
Prior experience in a supervisory role within the industry
Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently
Must be able to legally work in the USA
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
