Cybersecurity Disaster Recovery LeadSME level contractor.The RoleMy client with a well-established cybersecurity culture based in Dublin are focusing on designing their cybersecurity disaster recovery program and are looking for a Cybersecurity Disaster Recovery Lead to join their team on a contract basis, hybrid Model.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain disaster recovery procedures in coordination with Senior business leaders.
Build out the existing cybersecurity disaster recovery plan.
Assist in delivering a strategy to Respond and Recover from cybersecurity incidents, and IT and OT disasters resulting in outage.
Provide subject matter expertise on cybersecurity DR/BCP, documentation, and knowledge management/planning.
Assist in the development of disaster recovery plans to effectively recover from a cybersecurity incident and oversee their implementation.
Liaise with technology system owners to ensure technical back-up and recovery plans meet business needs.
Ensure that the cybersecurity DR program communicates the security policies and requirements so that relevant staff know, understand, and can follow them.
Develop and maintain reporting metrics that can effectively measure the maturity and the success of the DR program across the various business units.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Senior stakeholder management experience, and communication and presentation skills.
Minimum of 4/5 years relevant technical experience in emergency management, disaster recovery, and/or business continuity planning.
Familiarity with regulatory standards in the DR & BCP space (ISO 22301, NIST 800 series, etc) and experience in implementing change to align with these standards.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and storage systems.
Familiarity with different operating systems, virtualization technologies, and backup and recovery solutions.
Ability to lead and influence change and to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences both technical and non-technical.
