Specific Requirements
Job Details:
This position monitors station specific alarms, events, and may assist in other day to day operational needs (such as, but not limited to training new operators, maintaining contact lists, trackers and conducting security equipment checks). When alarms and events come in via computer programs or phone calls, the operator uses computer software and other tools such as security cameras, access systems, etc. to assess the alarm and determine an appropriate course of action to effectively respond to the event. This includes contacting Law enforcement or local security teams. All actions taken by the operator to assess and respond to their alarm events are documented either in a daily activity report or incident report depending on severity of the event. These procedures associated with these responsibilities are documented and new operators go through four weeks of training to learn the procedures. The CCO also supports staffing within the operation while on shift either as a floater or to provide additional shift coverage when openings occur. Operators must remain flexible and able to quickly modify work habits appropriately when changes are implemented
Site is 100% indoors.
We offer three shifts, Day: 0500-1330 Swing: 1300-2100 Grave: 2100-0530

This role is vital to maintaining the security and reliability of our operations, with responsibilities that go beyond the standard scope, empowering you to truly make a difference.
Position Overview: As a Control Center Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring swift and effective responses to alarms, incidents, and various events impacting PG&E assets. This position requires collaboration with Line of Business (LOB) contacts to address security and regulatory compliance matters.
What You Will Do:
Monitor station-specific alarms and events.
Utilize advanced software and tools to evaluate alarms and determine appropriate responses.
Document incidents in daily activity reports or escalate to law enforcement as needed.
Assist with resolving immediate security issues and standardizing access control processes.
Provide support for NERC/CIP access control procedures and background checks.
Ensure compliance with legal, federal, and state regulations.
Proofread and compile data for reports and assist in incident investigations.
Requirements:
Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. This position offers two consecutive days off during the week, with weekend availability required.
Must be 21 years or older
High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Must successfully pass both a drug test and background check
Compensation:
This position offers a competitive rate of $25/hour
