Our client is a global leading company of advanced packaging technologies and services, offering solutions for businesses of high-performance computing, is seeking a dedicated Information Security Engineer to join their team.
This role plays a pivotal role in strengthening their cybersecurity measures. You will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our client’s information security program. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement robust security measures, ensure compliance with industry standards, and safeguard their organization against cyber threats.
Qualifications
Korean-English bilingual required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field required
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations, firewall preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
A commitment to staying up to date with industry trends and emerging threats
Responsibilities
Develop and execute an information security strategy aligned with business objectives and industry best practices
Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to maintain compliance with relevant regulations
Identify, assess, and mitigate information security risks through regular risk assessments and the implementation of appropriate controls
Develop and manage incident response plans, ensuring our readiness to respond effectively to security incidents and breaches
Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization through training programs, workshops, and communication initiatives
Evaluate and manage the security practices of third-party vendors, ensuring their adherence to our security standards
Execute and oversee security monitoring tools to detect and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities in real-time
Collaborate with IT teams to design and execute secure network and system architectures, considering emerging threats and technologies
Coordinate and participate in internal and external security audits and assessments, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions
Maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident response plans
Prepare and deliver regular reports to the manager on the status of the information security program, including key metrics and security incidents
