Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE)
Location: Ft. Meade, MD
Job Description
Serves as an ISSE for large DoD Cyber Project
Provides expertise of DoD systems cyber security standards (DoDI 8570.01-M)
Provides expertise to support system delivery w/ DoD/Army cyber security policy
Ensures system compliance w/ DoD/Army Certification and Accreditation policies
Captures and refines information security requirements
Provides technical consultation to the development team IPT on:
Security design process
complex information security architectures
Upgrades to legacy systems
Develops/implements/documents security architecture and controls, including:
TTPs and Policies
Network infrastructure
Software infrastructure
Custom software apps, OS’s, and COTs products
System infrastructure
Secure design
Secure architecture
Secure coding techniques
Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science / System Engineering (or related career field)
10+ years’ experience
8570 IAT Lvl III (CSSLP, CISSP, ISSEP, or CASP)
Solid skills and experience in some (ideally all) of the following:
Microsoft – Windows Server and Desktop, Active Directory, WSUS, CA
SSP documentation and accreditation
NESSUS
DISA STIGs
PKI
McAfee EPO
Splunk
Experience with DoD systems (Cyber/ISR Systems Preferred)
Required: Active DoD TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph security clearance
