Questions managers, employees, clients and customers to obtain information related to suspected loss prevention policy violations. Gathers and reviews necessary evidence to include surveillance video, sales records, and other appropriate company documents.
Receives and documents reports of loss or damage of Goodwill Industries’ property as well as suspected loss prevention policy violations. Maintains case files in the Risk Management System.
Ensures the operation and maintenance of the companies’ security and CCTV systems.
Explains loss prevention policies and procedures to managers and employees.
Establishes and maintains an effective working relationship with local law enforcement agencies.
Manages the inventory of external keys for Goodwill’s facilities.
Maintains alarm monitoring information to include the update, distribution and activation of alarm codes and call lists.
Represents the organization in a court of law as relates to loss prevention issues.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCEAssociate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school in law enforcement or related field and three years’ law enforcement, loss prevention or investigative-related experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSValid Driver’s License (Class C), car insurance and reliable automobile required.
