The Cypress Club of Hilton Head is recruiting for the position of Night Maintenance Security. This role is responsible for the overall upkeep of residential apartments and public areas through responsive, accurate, and efficient maintenance. This will be accomplished through the performance of simple tasks that require the application of general maintenance and repair techniques, materials, tools, and equipment.

Job Responsibilities:
Follow the prescribed duty schedule and note deviations on the Daily Shift Report.
Utilize perception and detection skills during patrol tours to identify safety violations and deviations from normal surroundings.
Complete Daily Shift Reports with accurate information, specifying the Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How when documenting incidents. Ensure correct grammar and spelling in reports.
Maintain the door locking schedule.
Verify and document proper identification when unlocking restricted areas.
Maintain self-control and professionalism in stressful or combative situations, offering appropriate resolutions.
Adhere strictly to all facility and departmental policies and procedures, reflecting a positive image of The Cypress.
Read, initial, and pass on shared information appropriately.
Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ensure brief, concise, professional, and exact radio transmissions using proper procedures, codes, and language.
Issue notices of parking violations, document appropriately, and report violations to the Plant Director/Assistant Plant Director.
Drive The Cypress vehicles conservatively and safely.
Cooperate with management and reflect a positive attitude.
Possess a working knowledge of contents and procedures in the Emergency Procedure Manual.
Perform parking and traffic control as needed.
Deliver newspapers, packages, and inter-office correspondence as directed.
Perform daily flipper checks and report results to the Head Nurse.
Operate the Simplex computer fire and emergency pull cord system.
Identify suspicious persons on the premises.
Ensure and maintain the integrity and security of the facility through Patrol Tours.
Respond to pull cords, fire alarms, and emergency calls promptly and according to established policies and procedures.
Understand the responsibility to report suspected violations of The Cypress Code of Conduct.
