Standard/Generic Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline, or equivalent industry relevant experience in configuring, maintaining, and deploying security tools.
Good exposure to the handling of security incidents to its root cause.
A minimum of 3-4 years in a similar role, preferably in the Power or an OT related environment or equivalent experience to understand the business.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to explain security concepts to system users and stakeholders.
Effective verbal and written communication skills
A willingness to take on low level tasks with enthusiasm and due diligence.
Demonstrated ability in the production of documentation using accepted standards and notations.
Understand the Security/ISMS program.
Demonstrated background in the technical aspect of managing, configuring and deployment of security tools including EDR, firewalls, vulnerability scanners, a/v products and security logging tools.
Appropriate current or recent qualifications and industry certifications
Must Required for the Role
Understanding of Risk management practices with theability to participate in Risk assessments and maintain Risk registers.
Understand the Secure Email Gateway functioning (Mimecast, Exchange Online) – can perform Configurations, and troubleshooting, configuration auditing, log analysis, and policy finetuning.
Ability to work collaboratively and present technical demonstrations on EDR (CrowdStrike) tool like – Configure, and Troubleshoot Incident, Auditing, investigations and log analysis
Able to perform investigation on Microsoft Security Stack (Defender, Purview, Sentinel) and articulate the conclusive propositions.
Must have good understanding around Vulnerability Scoring/Patch Tuesday/Scanning -Tenableand understand theAD/SCCM & AAD/InTune toolsto track the vulnerability.
Must know theServiceNow- Ticketing Tool to track and record incidents and task for daily activities.
Able to implement security solutions for cloud-based environments, with a focus onAzure and O365.
