Control Risks is hiring a Security Director to support a multinational client of ours. The Security Director will lead the charge on developing astrategic visionfor the client and implementing thestrategic visionat the operational level. The successful candidate will be able to help the client understand the big picture, frame the vision, then implement the new security plan for the client.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to safeguard the companys people, assets, and locations.
Collaborate withcross-functional teamsto ensure a comprehensive security posture for the organization, aligning with physical security, workplace violence, executive protection, and other members of the client organization.
Create both thestrategic visionas well as the operational plan to implement recommended improvements to the companys security program.
Conduct regular assessments of security vulnerabilities and implement measures to mitigate risks.
Communicate security matters in a manner that motivates, influences and drives engagement of key stakeholders.
Strengthen internal processes to minimize risk.
Prepare and effectively conduct presentations that influence decisions, behaviours and outcomes.
Handle special projects, as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of experience in risk management, security, and operations. Preferably within a global corporation.
Business, technical, or functional knowledge at the mastery level, with a high degree of sound, independent judgment and capability.
Experience in a corporate environment with skills in influencingsenior management.
Familiarity with development and implementation of crisis management plans and all facets of physical and information security.
Superior report writing and oral presentation skills.
Willingness to travel.
