About the Job:
Excellent customer service is always top priority.
Dispatcher has to be able to prioritize
Switchboard operator experience
Ability to handle a large amount of multi-line phone traffic, radio transmissions
Experience with 911 emergency calls and contractor (access) calls
Able to learn and monitor CCTV which includes 350+ cameras across the utility
Able to learn and monitor card access system which includes alarm systems
Remote access control- opening gate and across the utility sites
You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
Rapid Response to Alarm alerts
About the Qualifications:
You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
Legally authorized to work in the United States
At least 6 months security experience, law enforcement, or military
At least 6 months of customer service experience
Must have a state security license or ability to obtain one***
Must be at least 18 years of age due to the contractual obligation for non-driving security posts or 21 years of age for security posts that operates a company vehicle.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record if security posts operate a company vehicle.
Demonstrate a stable work history
Have reliable transportation
Able to climb stairs, walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time
