Job Summary:
As a Security Officer at our insurance office, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees, clients, and company assets. Your primary objective is to maintain a secure and protected environment through vigilant monitoring, adherence to security protocols, and timely response to any potential threats or incidents. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Compensation:
$17.85 hr. (eligible for DailyPay)
Shift/Availability:
Days: Monday – Friday
Hours:12:00am- 8:00am
Weekends off

About the job:
Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
You provide rapid response in critical situations.
You’re good at reading and writing detailed reports.
You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
Monitor cameras for illicit/suspicious activity or trespassing
Monitor and authorize the entrance of employees, visitors, and other persons
Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or the presence of unauthorized persons
Maintain a safe secure working environment for the Employees and guests of the client Receive and properly record any mail or deliveries
Prepare security incident reports and maintain security logs.
Your background:
You have a high school education or equivalent (GED).
You’re able to pass an extensive screening process.
Ability to go up and down stairs.
Must be available to work overtime.
Advanced computer skills.
Excellent phone skills.
Customer service experience.
KCMO security license or ability to obtain (will help to obtain).
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
