We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team for Thibodaux Fireman’s Fair. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. The Security Guard will monitor premises, enforce rules, and respond to incidents as necessary.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to observe and report any suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks.
Collaborate with local law enforcement when required.
Document incidents and prepare reports as needed for management review.
Assist in conflict management situations, ensuring a peaceful resolution.
Requirements
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must pass background checks as required by company policies.

Pay: $13.00 – $13.25 per hour
