Job Summary:
The Hotel Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property. This includes patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and enforcing hotel policies to maintain a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol hotel premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence.
Monitor CCTV and alarm systems to detect suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies such as fire, theft, or medical incidents.
Check credentials and manage access to restricted areas of the hotel.
Write detailed incident reports and maintain security logs.
Escort guests or staff when requested or during emergencies.
Cooperate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when needed.
Enforce hotel rules and ensure guests and staff comply with safety procedures.
Conduct routine inspections of doors, windows, and locks.
Assist in evacuation procedures during emergencies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or hospitality is preferred.
Valid security guard license or certification (as required by local laws).
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and in emergency situations.
Physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
