Job Summary:
We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Security Officers to join our team for a permanent part time client in East Lansing, MI. We are looking for several part-time Officers to work this account. If additional full-time positions open up, officers will have first pick of the opportunities. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. If you have a strong sense of responsibility and are committed to ensuring the safety of others, we encourage you to apply. Veterans and currently serving service members are a plus. Duties:
– Patrol assigned areas within client establishment
– Ensure ID check verification of patrons
– Ensure and enforce physical and mental safety of client/customers
– Enforce property rules and regulations
– Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks
– Provide assistance and support to employees and visitors as needed
– Complete detailed reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in security services is a must
-Strong conflict management skills
-Excellent observation and surveillance abilities
-Must have reliable transportation
-High school diploma or equivalent required (additional training or education always welcome)
-CPR and First Aid certification required
-law enforcement, or military service is a plus
– Active CPL is a plus
