Job Summary:The Kansas City Chiefs seek proactive and self-motivated individuals to join our team as Security Officers. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in upholding the security mission of the Kansas City Chiefs by meticulously enforcing policies and procedures at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. As a Security Officer, you will engage with employees, guests, vendors, and contractors, prioritizing safety and service within a fast-paced and professional environment.
Essential Accountabilities
Facility Security Oversight: Maintain vigilant oversight of facility security systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with standards and promptly addressing any breaches or vulnerabilities.
Emergency Response Coordination: Act as a key liaison during emergency situations, coordinating responses with internal teams, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure swift and effective resolution.
Crowd Management: Implement crowd control measures and protocols to manage large gatherings effectively, prioritizing safety and orderly conduct.
Asset Protection: Safeguard valuable assets and property through regular patrols, monitoring, and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver security training programs, fostering a culture of awareness and preparedness among staff members.
Incident Documentation and Analysis: Thoroughly document security incidents, conduct post-incident analysis, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence and enhance security protocols.
Access Control Management: Oversee access control systems, ensuring authorized personnel are granted appropriate access while unauthorized individuals are restricted, maintaining the integrity of secure areas.
Security Technology Utilization: Leverage security technology and tools effectively to enhance surveillance capabilities, streamline operations, and improve response times in security-related incidents.
Professional Competencies
Class A Patrol Agent: Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A Patrol Agent License from the Kansas City Private Officers Licensing Unit, with a clear understanding of the legal authority conferred by this license.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in utilizing and managing multiple software applications concurrently for completing essential job functions.
Versatility: Demonstrated ability to adapt seamlessly in a dynamic workplace.
Decisiveness: Capacity to review facts and initiate prompt actions as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; preference for post-secondary education or training.
Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Successful completion of a background check.
Physical Requirements
Frequent Walking/Standing for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to lift/carry/push 75 lbs.
